Halloween Hauntings at our HQ

The team had a great time celebrating Halloween at our Cheshire HQ today.

We put our pumpkin carving skills to the test with a ‘Best Pumpkin’ competition. The calibre was high and really put our judges to the test. Customer Service Advisor Rosey Stapleton took the crown of first place with her glitzy pumpkin!

ASM attends UK and Germany Computacenter GTS Conferences

ASM Technologies were pleased to be invited to the Computacenter GTS Conferences which took place throughout October. The conference welcomes valued partners to celebrate the non-sales function of Computacenter and celebrate successes whilst looking to the future.

Senior Business Development Manager for Computacenter, Simon Keilty attended the UK event on 14 October and said

“This year’s GTS conference was especially good as it’s the first big event since Covid that partners have been invited to. It was great seeing so many friendly faces and celebrating successes of individuals and teams across the business.”

Key Account Managers for Computacenter Germany, Daria Hein and Indre Jureviciene said

“We really enjoyed attending the GTS Germany Conference in Cologne on 28 October. It was great to see so many of our customers in person who we’ve spoken to over the phone and on email over the past two years. Thanks to the team for inviting us and we look forward to connecting again soon”.

Atos Leading Ladies Brunch 2022

Recently, Leanne Ogden, Head of Business Development and Ellie Swinglehurst, Business Development Manager had the pleasure of attending the Atos Leading Ladies Brunch in aid of The Princes Trust as part of their Million Makers scheme. The event focused on empowering female talent and raising funds for a great cause.

The Princes Trust is a youth charity that helps young people aged 11 to 30 get into jobs, education and training. Their mission is to transform the lives and build sustainable communities worldwide, with a particular focus on supporting young people into education, employment and enterprise.

Leanne Ogden, Head of Business Development said

“We were excited to be invited to the Atos Leading Ladies Brunch at the stunning Kew Gardens. We were joined by many accomplished women from various industries and heard talks from keynote speakers and panellists who shared their inspirational journeys of working across the business and charity sectors. Atos Million Makers Regatta 2022

Recently the ASM team joined Atos for their sixth annual Atos Regatta to raise money for The Princes Trust through their Million Makers scheme.

The Princes Trust is a youth charity that helps young people aged 11 to 30 get into jobs, education and training. Their mission is to transform the lives and build sustainable communities worldwide, with a particular focus on supporting young people into education, employment and enterprise.

Ellie Swinglehurst, Business Development Manager said

“We started the day with a few practice runs, then braved it out on the English Channel. Congratulations to the team for putting together such an incredible event – this truly was the best excuse to get away from our laptops and spend some time with our Atos crew mates in a unique team building experience. Thank you to our very brave team for joining us on the day and supporting a fantastic cause to help transform the lives of young people.”

Checkmarx Sales Enablement Session

We’d like to thank our partner, Checkmarx for visiting our HQ on Tuesday 4 October and delivering Sales Enablement training to our sales team and providing a buffet lunch. It was great to meet Naseer from the partner success team and discover the latest updates and developments in the Checkmarx One product suite.

Checkmarx is constantly pushing the boundaries of Application Security Testing to make security seamless and simple for the worlds developers and security teams.

ASM Group celebrates 30 years in business

It’s a very exciting time at the ASM Group as we celebrate 30 years in business.

Over the past three decades the business has evolved significantly to predict and support what our customers need. Back in 1992 ASM found a niche in the market providing specific parts to systems integrators to now supplying innovative and disruptive technologies to some of the biggest IT providers around the world.

ASM has always been about our people and many of our fantastic team have been with the business for decades. Our people have worked hard to build relationships with our customers and continue the business growth and we would like to thank our team for their hard work over the years.

As we look ahead to the next 30 years, the future couldn’t be more exciting.

We’d like to extend a huge thanks to the hugely entertaining Magician, Andrew Dean and Spencer May for creating some fantastic caricatures of the team.

Macmillan Coffee Morning 2022

Today we hosted our coffee morning to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support.

Macmillan Cancer Support is there to do whatever it takes to support people living with cancer. They raise money to provide vital cancer services, research and campaign to achieve better cancer care, and support the cancer workforce.

We invited individuals from across the business to bring in homemade or shop-bought cakes and sweet treats for the team to enjoy.

The turnout was great and it was great to get the team together and enjoy the tasty treats whilst raising money for an incredibly worthy cause.

Thanks to everyone who brought or baked a cake and donated!

ASM Thrive 2022

On Thursday 22 September, we held our annual partner event, ASM Thrive, the first in-person partner event in 2 years.

We hosted over 20 vendors, some of whom we’ve partnered with for many years, to more recent relationships fostered over the previous couple of months, and showcased the facilities at our new Cheshire HQ.

GoTo deliver Sales Enablement Session to ASM Team

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to the team at GoTo who visited our office to deliver Sales Enablement sessions. We enjoyed meeting the partner team at Goto and learning more about the capabilities of the products and building on our existing strong partnership.
