St Luke’s (Cheshire) Hospice is ASM Technologies nominated charity due to the incredible work they do and the impact their services have on so many people’s lives.
Over the course of the past 2 years, ASM has been involved with various fundraising activities to raise vital funds for St Luke’s Hospice, such as Tough Mudder, the Snowdon Ultra 100 Mile Race, The Midnight Walk, Manchester 10K, Bubble Rush, and we hosted our very own Great British Bake Off.
There is still work to be done to raise much-needed funds for St Luke’s which is why we’re completing the ASM Around Europe sponsored walk. The team will walk 1,147 miles, which is the distance between ASM HQ in Cheshire, to the London Office then onto the France Office to the German Office and back to HQ. All the money that is raised from this event will be combined with the funds raised from previous events and donated to St Luke’s Hospice. Please feel free to walk, run or cycle to rack up the miles completed.
If we all get involved with this and ‘do our bit’, you’ll only need to walk 17 miles each, get sponsored for £17 and we will exceed our target of £5,000.

Since 1988, St Luke’s has been providing palliative care to local people, supporting them in ways which go beyond the scope and funding of the NHS.
Last year they supported over 1,000 local people with a huge range of support from end of life care on their ward to supporting carers, and from helping children cope with grief to helping patients return to work after an illness. They are a charity and provide all our care for free, so they rely on the generosity and commitment of their supporters to raise more than 80% of our costs.
They are often called a small Hospice with a big heart because they passionately want to make a difference to the quality of people’s lives; enabling them to live rather than exist. Charity Registration No. 515595
